Say hello to our new Production Manager Mike.
If you follow us on social, you may have noticed we’ve been posting ads for this position for quite some time. It’s because we were waiting for the right person to come along.
Enter Mike. He’s in charge of planning, ordering and preparing all the food we make for both the restaurant and the trucks to keep us stocked up and running efficiently. Also, he works with new (and existing staff) to train new kitchen folks and steer the ship behind the scenes.
Sound like a lot? It really is!
Mike comes to us from another local gem, Swiftwater Brewing, where he worked for 4 years, 2 as the head chef for years. He tells us he loves the fast paced environment that is the service industry, and of course he loves food! His positive attitude is exactly what we need in a kitchen that is always moving and dealing with the challenges of a small business.
Mike spends his free time with his partner, and friends watching spooky movies and documentaries. He makes a really great soft pretzel (but will it make an appearance on our menu we wonder…)? And of course the most important question: What’s his favorite poutine? The one that started it all – Traditional.
